Time to act!

After days of watching live the war in Ukraine while comfortably sitting on my couch in Seattle, I just could not take it anymore, What if I was Ukrainian? What if one of these women was my wife with both of our kids? I would be hoping that they would safely escape this hell and find an helping hand on the other side of the border.

I have the chance to have dual citizenship (French and American), so it is easy for me to go back and forth as needed between these two countries. I decided that it was time to do something and take action

After a few days of discussion, I booked my flight from Seattle to Paris, where I arrived on March 14.

I am sure today, a family that I do not know is terrified of what they left behind and what they will find in a few days. I cannot imagine what this mother with one or two kids is feeling about going into an unknown country, likely not speaking the local language, and joining the life of another unknown family.

I would be personally petrified of not knowing where I would end off.

On my side, I am not really feeling better - I am not sure what type of family I will be helping. I do not know the process and laws in France as a refugee, and I may not get along with this family.

As an entrepreneur, I have to make decisions every day based on what I know and not have all the answers. You have to be more often correct than wrong to succeed at the end of the day. :)

I guess I am going into this adventure with the same mindset - There is a lot that I do not know, I might fail, but I will try my best to succeed. For this one, success is simple - helping ease the suffering of a group of people until they can get their life back together

It is time to make it happen!
