Sorry for not blogging this week. While in France, I usually work from 5 pm to 2 am Monday through Friday, so it is transparent to my team and clients in the US. Unfortunately, the past week has been super busy!

Significant progress for Luba and her family! Tomorrow, we have our in-person meeting scheduled with the Prefecture to get all appropriate visas and get the final numbers concerning the financial support they will be receiving from the French government. So far, the process has been very smooth and pretty fast. I will report what we all learn tomorrow.
Today, we finally found a tiny house for rent within the village so they can still do everything within walking distance. The house is a cute two bedrooms where Luba and her family will be staying until they go back to Ukraine. The current owner is cleaning the house, and we get access on Saturday afternoon. This will give us the time to list everything we need to buy to furnish it fully. After that, we will take a trip to IKEA and convert the house to a nice inviting place for the three.
I will share pictures over the weekend!
By next week, they will be all set – visa, long-term housing, financial support, schools for the kids, bank account, etc.
