A day with many good news!

Today was another busy day as we had to rush the preparation of the house. Luba and her family were moving in tonight!

While Nico and Luba were painting the second layer,

My dad and I went to pick up the new oven, fridge, and two mattresses.

Once we came back, we started to install the new fridge and oven

Amazing news!

The city of Mehun has an association to help people with low income. The great news was that they would reimburse Luba for her new fridge, oven, and mattresses! It was a fantastic surprise and a savings of 880 euros! On top of it, they came back with the car full of kitchen supplies, bed sheets, etc. - everything was new! Yahoooooooo!

I also signed the lease agreement for the house, and the owner gave me a fantastic deal as they wanted to help support Luba and the kids. We will be renting a two-bedroom house, including water and electricity, for 460 euros per month. The only thing we will have left to pay for is the internet and monthly garbage.

Around 9 pm, we finally had our first dinner at Luba's new place. It was still camping style (as we will be getting a kitchen table tomorrow), but it felt good to know it is now their final place. I feel good that it will be a cozy place in a great location (everything can be done walking without a car).

A new chapter is being written!
